Industrial architecture can be seen as the modern day equivalent of a castle. Huge fortresses that are insrutable, nobody knows what goes on in them, the buildings repulse as well as attract. There are plenty of fine examples to find in the harbor of Rotterdam. Like this building which was build early this century. It's a silo. But oh, what a silo.
