Coming Friday, June 5th 1998, you can witness the grand opening city exhibition of an artists-collaboration between the South African Johannesburg based group called "APT ARTWORKS" and a local group from Rotterdam working under the illustrious name of " VIA KUNST"
The group tries to react on Dutch architecture , by influencing the environement with it’s artwork.
This time they wrapped the pillars of the Dutch Institute of Architecture in Rotterdam with canvas and painted them with images based on both their African an Dutch cultures. The result is a mind starteling radiance of color and light, which can be enjoyed for the next three months.
